Marketing Coordinator
About the Job
We are a non-profit-seeking start up focused on community building, particularly the technology of bringing people together. We have a number of different products both tactile and digital that we’d like to promote and some we want to sell and bring in revenue. You will design a campaign within our pretty quirky brand parameters and work with our tiny enthusiastic trans-continental team.
Responsibilities
- Pattern scan and design a multi-vectored marketing strategy with a detailed implementation plan.
- Set up fast cheap integrated marketing experiments to see what sells.
- Record, report, and adjust what worked and why and what didn’t and why.
- Align with the other four members of the core team.
- Come up with bold wild new ideas and how to operationalize and measure them.
Qualifications
- Deep and proven commitment to making the world, your country, neighborhood, or school a better place.
- At least three years of relevant digital marketing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree would be great, but not required. We don’t care in what.
- Sufficient knowledge and experience of at least two digital marketing methods and platforms that you could start immediately on them when you have the necessary assets at hand. You won’t have to but should be able to.
- Experience within Google, etc. We will want to know in what you have mainly worked.
This is a long term position but will have a one month, and three months probationary period. We expect three hours a day, five days a week or at 37.5%. For some it could be possible with another job but we want full transparency on other responsibilities. It will pay US$600 per month, and could increase or move to full time based on success. We don’t care where in the world you usually are. We will contact the top applicants on a rolling basis and will hire when we have found a match, so early applicants have an advantage, but the overall deadline is 6pm GMT Wednesday 30 April 2025. So yea, get in applications soon after seeing this, we’d appreciate it.
Please send an email with your LinkedIn profile link and/or your CV/resume with Fractional Marketing Direct in the subject line to info@rorshok.com. Include in that email where you normally live and between fifty and one hundred and fifty words about what interests you about this job.
This is a cool job and we want a cool person, a big thinker who is out to do great things to help improve this messed up world, but also somebody who pays attention to detail. We are real human beings and this hire is a very big deal for us. Robo-applicants will be ignored, so if you are really interested, please do precisely as we ask in the application, thanks.
